At the start of the year we find ourselves reflecting on the successes and challenges that we achieved throughout the previous year. To have a structured approach to this is always going to be useful as it is something you can monitor and measure.
So it is a useful model to follow the cycle for continuing professional development, not just at the beginning of the year, continually throughout the year, which is : self-assessment, planning, action and reviewing your progress.
When I reflect on my development activity from last year …. which started so well with my commitment to development and recording my activities every week., detailing key learning and sharing that experience on my blog.
So what happened? Amazingly I did achieve some development, learning or new experience every week, however, this did not always translate into a blog!
In review if you are going to commit to something make sure it is realistic and achievable, otherwise you not only make a rod for your own back, you will not be motivated and therefore, lose interest and likely not achieve your goals.
My goals :
- Develop strategic plan for blogging and all social media
- Continue to engage with my customers Quote for today :
