MY CPD
The defining characteristic of being human is our capacity to keep on learning and changing throughout our lives.
The true purpose of CPD is to take that capacity and turn it into a reality.
Sadly, another defining characteristic of human beings is their capacity to procrastinate.
We procrastinate because life and work seems to get in the way of our best intentions. As a result CPD can become an additional burden sitting on top of us rather than being an integral part of our professional and our personal lives. And yet study after study reveal that those who embrace CPD are .."more engaged, less stressed, more interested in new opportunities and more open to working with new colleagues."[Gibb & Megginson, 1999.]
At Leap we understand that CPD is largely an individual responsibility, but one made far less onerous with the support and input of others. This website and the guidance and ideas you will find on it, and share through it, are all designed to ensure that your CPD is;
